RYSA's College Seminar - October 26th

We will hold our annual College Seminar on Sunday, October 26th at 7pm at the Rockdale Leadership Center, 2826 Georgia Highway 20, Conyers, GA 30013. Even if you do not plan to play soccer beyond high school, there will be a lot of good information as you prepare to attend college.

The focus of this seminar will be to help each player learn how to create a pool of schools on which they would like to focus. We also want to assist each player in developing their resume, introduction letter and list of references for college coaches. Ultimately, each player should walk out of the seminar with the tools to begin the college recruiting process. We will work with individuals throughout the fall as we make a push to get all players some exposure to college coaches during our post season tournaments.

Jenni Mauran, former Director of Admission at Wofford College will be on hand to discuss the admissions and financial aid process. We will also have college coaches from Georgia State University, Clayton State, Georgia Gwinett College, Point University and Emmanuel College to answer all of your questions about what it takes to play soccer at the college level. John Wilson, from NCSA Athletic Recruiting will be there to help you get noticed by college coaches. Robert Andrew from W9 Soccer will also be here to talk about putting together a highlight video that college coaches are sure to notice. This is going to be our best college seminar yet!

All of our HS aged players should plan to attend. We look forward to seeing everyone on October 26th. Again, the seminar will begin at 7pm and will take place at the Rockdale Leadership Center, 2826 Georgia Highway 20 Southeast, Conyers, GA 30013.
