Congratulations to Jessica Walker & Morgan Green

Congratulations to Jessica "JW" Walker and Morgan "Moe" Green who are the two latest Lady Revolution players signing to play in college.

Jessica Walker has been a standout center back and holding mid for both the Georgia Revolution 98s and Heritage High School. Jess also played for the State ODP team.  She suffered a serious knee injury in her junior year but is back to playing and rapidly regaining her form.  Jessica joins an accomplished Reinhardt Lady Eagle squad that was 17-3-1 in their 2015 campaign.  The Lady Eagles won the AAC conference and went to the NAIA National Tournament under coach, Andy Kaplan.  Coach Kaplan hopes that the addition of Jessica, a talented defender will improve their chances of once again winning the AAC and moving deeper in the NAIA Nationals.  Coach Kaplan states, "We are very pleased to add Jessica Walker to what has turned into the best recruiting class in the history of our program.  Jessica's combination of skill and athleticism will enable her to become a very successful player at Reinhardt University.  The understanding of the game she demonstrates is a testament to the coaching she has received and should enable her to make a smooth transition to the college game."

Moe Green played a central role in the Revolution 98s rise over 4 years from a low level team to the Athena A level.  She is also a perennial MVP and Region All-star for her Eastside High School team.  She captains both her club and high school teams.  Moe will be joining the Georgia Military College Lady Bulldogs.  Coach Courtney Morgan looks forward to adding Moe's physical style of play and ability to play several positions to a talent rich recruiting class that includes 5 international players. Coach Morgan states, "We're excited to have Morgan join the GMC Family. I have known Morgan for a while and have watched her grow in to a great player. She knows the game well and she is a hard working player. I'm excited to see what she can do at the next level."

The Revolution is most proud of these two young women who played their entire Select soccer careers at the Revolution and were key to their team's rise from a low level team to the A level.  We all wish them the best first and foremost as students and also members of their schools’ soccer programs.

Congratulations also to Kelly & Mark Walker and Nichole & James Green on the accomplishments of their very talented and "spirited" daughters!
